Broadway Star Carly Hughes set to Razzle Dazzle in ‘Chicago.’

PGF-USA Awards winner, actress Carly Hughes has been cast as Velma Kelly, a nightclub singer who was accused of murdering her husband and sister, in the Broadway production of ‘Chicago.’ She begins performances at the Ambassador Theatre on February 2, 2015 to March 29, 2015. Hughes will join Sugarland’s lead singer, Jennifer Nettles who takes over the role of Roxy Hart on the same day.

Hughes, who won her Princess Grace Award in theater in 2003, is currently starring as the Leading Player in the Tony Award winning revival ofPippin’at the Music Box Theatre. Her previous Broadway credits include 'Beautiful: The Carole King Musical', 'The Book of Mormon', 'Ghost', 'Ragtime', 'The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee' and 'Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas'.

‘Chicago’ is Broadway's longest-running musical revival, as well as the longest-running American show in Broadway history.
